Modular homes come fully charged

A California modular-home company claims it can build new homes faster and cheaper, and deliver them with self-sustaining electric power.
S2A Modular of Temecula, California unveiled its GreenLuxHome system this year saying the factory-built luxury homes come equipped with Tesla Powerwall technology linked to solar panels. These solar panels make the homes ‘Net Zero’ because the homes create more electricity than they use.
GreenLuxHomes are available in 35 pre-designed floor plans.
“In less than six weeks from choosing a design and receiving approved plans, homes are built,” the company claims.
S2A builds the home in a controlled environment, custom finished to homebuyer specifications, with the latest appliances and smartphone-controlled settings pre-installed, according to a company statement.
