Finalists Named For 2010 CHBA National SAM Awards
OTTAWA - December 8, 2010 - The Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) is pleased to announce the Finalists for the 2010 CHBA National SAM Awards - Presented by Schlage and Trane.
The CHBA National SAM Awards celebrate excellence in new homes and renovation design, innovative technology and construction techniques, outstanding presentation, and marketing activities across Canada.
Twenty-three CHBA National SAM Awards will be presented at the Association’s 68th National Conference on February 27, 2011 in Banff, Alberta. CHBA President Victor Fiume said that winning a National SAM is a real honour and distinction.
“Each year, the bar seems to get raised a little higher, as new home builders, renovators and developers across the country strive to outdo themselves and each other,” enthuses Mr. Fiume. “The quality, the sheer excellence of the projects chosen as this year’s finalists is nothing short of inspirational.”
CHBA National SAM Awards are presented in the following categories (number of awards in category): New Home Awards (8), Home Renovation Awards (5), Marketing Awards (6), the Marketing Excellence Award, the Green Home Award, the Community Development Award and the Grand SAM Award. The Grand SAM Award will be presented to the new home builder member who best combined excellence in both the building and marketing of new homes.

The Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) is the voice of the residential construction industry in Canada representing more than 8,500 member firms across Canada.
