All Weather Windows Co-founder Joins National Council for Safe, Affordable Housing

EDMONTON – As a long-time and active supporter of community initiatives, All Weather Windows has announced that Henry Banman, Senior Executive Vice President & Founding Partner, has accepted an advisory position with Habitat for Humanity Canada’s National Leadership Council.
The National Leadership Council is a group of Canadian business and community leaders who believe that building stronger communities depends upon safe, affordable and accessible housing.
“When you’ve been a part of Canada’s building industry for as long as we have, you see first-hand that there’s a tremendous need to provide critical resources for thousands of people,” says Banman. “It’s an honour to be a part of the National Leadership Council and to effectively collaborate on fighting this housing crisis and making homeownership a reality for families in Canada and abroad.”
The council launched the National Platform for Change on November 22 – National Housing Day – to engage Canadians and raise awareness and understanding of the need for affordable housing across the country and around the world.
Habitat for Humanity Canada’s National Platform for Change can be signed at www.habitat.ca/showyoursupport. In addition to showing personal support, signing the Platform will also help low-income families achieve homeownership, as for each signature, MCAP Service Corporation will generously donate $5 to Habitat for Humanity Canada. MCAP will also match any personal donations made when signing.
